It’s an interesting story how I met my tailor. One day I was in a crowded fabric store and I saw a woman with a beautiful shawl. I asked her who had made the shawl and she said she had made it herself. It’s now been many years that we’ve been working together. I design and she does the handmade artwork. I travel a lot especially in Iran because it gives me the chance to become familiar with different traditional arts of the country. Identifying and using these art techniques are among my favourite activities. For example in Qeshm, Golabetoon Doozi is a beautiful and decorative art technique. I try to use this technique in my own designs and introduce it to people.
